Pour Over Method (V60)

Regulars at Bora HQ in Solihull know we’re passionate and serious about making pour over coffee and our team of talented baristas love getting creative (and competitive!) when trying to make the perfect brew. Here’s a guide to how you can make amazing pour over coffee at home:  Fold the filter paper along the seam and into a cone. Place the cone into your V60 and then place on top of your mug or glass jug.  Rinse the filter by pouring hot water through it and into the cup below. Empty the cup before continuing.  Measure out 15-17g of delicious Bora coffee beans and grind.  Freshly grind your coffee. We recommend a medium to fine grind for V60. All grinders...

Inverted Aeropress Method

For those of you wanting to get creative, you can always try the inverted Aeropress. Many swear by this method and believe the taste is greatly improved. The jury’s still out for us on whether it improves the taste, but we invite you to make your own mind up! Here’s how you can try it:  Boil your kettle and leave the water to sit for approx. 2mins. Pour some of the water into your mug to warm it.  Measure out between 15 – 17g of freshly roasted Bora coffee beans. Aeropress Method

Aeropress is our favourite way of brewing coffee at home. It’s super simple, clean and produces a great cup. Also, if you’re a traveller like many of the Bora team, you can pack your Aeropress easily in your case and enjoy Bora coffee on the road. Below you can see our Aeropress brewing method.
