Rwanda, a gem of a land-locked country nestled in the snow-capped mountains of East Africa, is an often overlooked producer of outstanding coffee.
There are some 400,000 small-scale growers across the country and all coffee harvested is Arabica. Coffee growing conditions in the lush green terraced hills so synonymous with Rwanda are ideal, and standards for such a small country are exceptionally high.
The coffee that we have selected from Rwanda comes from the Missouzi co-operative and is a fully washed coffee. You can enjoy beautiful red flavours of cranberries and a wonderful sweetness.
This coffee is beautiful as a filter but works well as an espresso too and has been tried and tested in the Bora Coffee shop!
