In September, we're heading to our favourite continent, Africa, to bring you a truly delicious coffee that the Bora team just can't get enough of!
Located close to Yirgacheffe, the coffee growing region of Limu produces a very different cup to that of its more famous counterpart.
The district as a whole produces distinctive coffees from traditional varieties of Arabica that are native to the area. Limu coffee is grown at elevations ranging from 3,600 to 6,200 feet above sea level, a slightly lower altitude than the Yirgacheffe region.
This means that the cherries mature quicker and the acidity alters slightly. The coffee that we have selected from the Limu region is grown in Oromia and is a delicate mix of six coffee beans from six farms.
Expect luscious fruit flavours, which create a sweet and winey taste and a polished finish.
